Turkey initiated an anti-dumping investigation on aluminum foil originating in China. The initiation Communique was published in the Official Journal of Turkey dated 21 December 2013 and numbered 28858. EU imposed definitive anti-dumping duty on aluminum foil originating in Armenia, Brazil and China on 24th September, 2009. This investigation will be a new stroke for Chinese aluminum industry. It is a question whether Chinese industry will cooperate with Turkish investigating authority. Until today, Turkey has not granted market economy status to any cooperating company in China.
